Traditional SaaS platforms like Shopify imposed recurring app costs, rigid themes, and high transaction cuts, while lacking flexible Indian payment workflows such as manual UPI verification alongside formal payment gateways.
The Engineered Solution
Engineered a bespoke headless e-commerce store with Next.js and Sanity CMS. Everything from product catalogs, banners, and collections is customizable via Sanity and a dedicated admin panel. Multi-option checkout supports PayU payment gateway, zero-fee manual UPI payment verification (with QR upload), and Cash on Delivery (COD). Automated order confirmations and dispatch invoices are handled seamlessly via Brevo SMTP, paired with foundational technical SEO.
